Ye have continued with me in my temptations; and I appoint you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me: that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit upon thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
as Thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that as to all which Thou hast given Him, He might give them eternal life;
In my Father's house there are many mansions; if not, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
For we know that if our earthly house, which is but as a tent, were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
But they desire a better, that is, an heavenly one; wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He hath prepared for them a city.
After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no one could number, out of all nations, and tribes, and people, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and with palms in their hands; and crying with a loud voice, saying, Salvation be ascribed to our God, who sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb.
but I tell you, that many shall come from the east and from the west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven;
Yea they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of great affliction, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
knowing that ye were redeemed from your vain conversation learned by tradition from your fathers, not with corruptible things, as silver and gold; but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Happy are they that do his commandments, so shall they have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
But I say unto you, Whosoever shall own me before men, the Son of man will also own him before the angels of God.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father, who is in heaven: many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name have wrought many miracles? and I will then declare unto them, I never owned you, depart from me, ye workers of iniquity.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
But we all with unveiled face beholding, as in a glass, the glory of the Lord, are transformed according to the same image from glory to glory, as proceeding from the Spirit of the Lord.
that it may be made like his glorious body, according to the energy of his ability to subdue all things to Himself.
Beloved, we are now the children of God, but it doth not yet appear what we shall be: we know however, that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
by which are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye may become partakers of a divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Let him, that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
To him that overcometh I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I also have overcome, and am set down with my Father on his throne.
And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying to them, Come up hither; and they ascended up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them.
For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with acclamation, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are living and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we for ever be with the Lord.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be his people, and God himself, even their God, will be with them.
And as I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself, that where I am, ye may also be.
then we who are living and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we for ever be with the Lord.
and his lord said to him, Well done, my good and trusty servant, thou hast been faithful in a few things, I will set thee over many, enter into thy master's joy.
Thus, I tell you, there shall be joy in heaven over one repenting sinner, more than over ninety-nine righteous persons, that have no need of repentance.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy in you may continue, and that your joy may be full.
For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of boasting? are not ye also among others in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? for ye are our glory and our joy.
looking unto Jesus the leader and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Which are a demonstration of the just judgement of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: seeing it is a righteous thing with God to render affliction to those that afflict you; and to you, who are in trouble, rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven,
For we who believe shall enter into rest, as He said above, "So I sware in my wrath, they shall not enter into my rest:" though the works of creation were finished from the foundation of the world:
And I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead, that die in the Lord, from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, for they rest from their labors and their works do follow them.
for in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels of God in heaven.
For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels in heaven.
But they who are counted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: for they can die no more, being like the angels: and they are the children of God as being the children of the resurrection.
And the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God enlighteneth it, and the Lamb is it's light.
But the righteous shall then shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
For our short and light affliction is working out for us an infinite and eternal weight of glory, as we aim not at the things which are visible, but invisible:
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should declare the glories of Him, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
When Christ, who is your life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.
Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for Thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
and charged you, that ye should walk worthy of God, who hath called you to his kingdom and glory.
And when the sovereign Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive an unfading crown of glory.
And I account the sufferings of this present time not worthy to be set against the glory that shall be revealed to us.
The elders that are among you I exhort, who am also an elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker of the glory which shall be revealed; feed the flock of God that is among you,
